A plain bedspread, with an even grain, enough to give the bedroom a finished look in the time it takes to unfold it.

This bedspread is knitted in a mostly cotton blend, in a honeycomb weave. It weighs 1.5 kg: enough to hang straight down each side of the bed, little enough to pull back up with one hand. The colours are set with reactive dyes, with grade 4 fastness — they do not fade over successive washes. Seven natural colours, from dark grey to light blue, and three sizes.

Features

  • Material: cotton and polyester blend, mostly cotton
  • Knitted honeycomb weave, plain
  • Weight: 1.5 kg
  • Reactive dyeing, colour fastness grade 4
  • Three sizes: 100 x 150, 150 x 200 and 200 x 230 cm
  • Seven colours: dark grey, khaki, tea white, turmeric, pink, light blue, blue

Day to day

As a bedspread on a single or double bed, as a sofa throw, or as a spare blanket in the in-between seasons. The 100 x 150 cm suits a child's bed. Allow 1 to 3 cm of tolerance on the dimensions.

Our approach

A well-dyed plain outlasts more rearrangements than a print. We would rather invest in how the colour holds than in the pattern.
