Four long flames lined up on the table, and the colour of the wax fades gently from the base to the tip.
Taper candles poured and coloured by hand, whose shade slides gradually from one tone to another over the whole height. The burn is meant to be dripless and smokeless. As each piece is shaped by hand, the shades vary slightly from one candle to the next — and small bubbles may remain in the wax.

Day to day
On a dining table in mismatched candle holders, they replace the ceiling light for the length of a dinner. They also work as colourful decoration on a shelf, even unlit.
Our approach
A handmade candle is never quite identical to its neighbour. We accept these differences: they are what sets a shaped object apart from one moulded in series.
