A brass bow fixed to the wall, a slim candle above it, and the hallway no longer needs a bulb.
This wall candle holder is worked by hand in brass, around a bow motif drawn from old French designs. The bare metal catches the light of the flame and takes on a patina over time, which rather suits it. It goes up where a lamp has no place: an entrance, the side of a fireplace, a bedroom wall.
Features
- Chased brass, handmade
- Wall sconce, vintage-style bow motif
- Designed for slim candles (taper type)
- Candles not supplied
- Sold singly or in pairs
Everyday use
Put two on either side of a mirror or a fireplace to frame the wall, or just one in an entrance. Lit in the evening, it is enough to give a low light to a hallway.
Our approach
Solid brass does not wear out: it darkens, it marks, it tells the years spent on the wall. We prefer a material that takes a patina to a finish that chips.
