A small metal case you slide open, and lighting a candle becomes a gesture again.
A metal matchbox, closed by a sliding drawer that protects the contents from damp. It replaces the cardboard packet that tears at the back of a drawer and takes in water near the sink. Several finishes, from patinated brass to matt black.
Features
- Metal case, brass finish
- Opens with a sliding drawer
- Designed to protect from damp
- Finishes available: patinated brass, gold, silver, black
- Sold per box, matches not supplied
Everyday use
Leave it next to the candles, on the fireplace or near the cooker. Metal stands up to the kitchen and the bathroom, where a cardboard packet warps within a few weeks.
Our approach
A useful object kept for years instead of being thrown away with the matches. Brass scratches and takes a patina: it ages without falling apart.
